Trino Jose Navarro (TJ) passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2022 at the
age of 50 in Seffner, Florida.
TJ is survived by his mother, Patricia, his sisters Denice and Marcia, his
aunt Beth, several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in
death by his father Trino and sister Kimberly.
TJ was born in Sacramento CA, on May 8,1971 to Trino and Patricia
Navarro. At 18 years old, TJ proudly joined the United States Navy, serving
four years as a Navy Firemen (FN), where he was responsible for
completing engineering watches, operating electrical equipment as well as
performing repairs on shipboard equipment. His military service took him
around the world aboard the USS Wisconsin as well as the USS Missouri.
Following his service in the Navy, TJ worked two years as a National Park
Service Forest Ranger in Florida before embarking on a career as a crane
operator in the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 925B,
working in that field on and off for several years.
TJ was an avid fisherman and lifelong learner. He had a passion for
hopping into the kitchen or learning a new skill to share with those around
him, or heading out to help his friends with their projects and businesses.
He made friends with incredible ease and loved them openly. He was
spiritual and spent his adult life seeking solace and guidance from that
spirituality. And above all else, he could spend an evening bringing a smile
to those with and around him. TJ will be deeply missed by his friends and
family.
There will be a memorial at a yet to be determined time and place.
