In Loving Memory

Linda Ann Morris

Jan. 11, 1962 - Sept. 30, 2022

God opened the gates and let another angel in. Linda Ann Morris was called to heaven on September 30, 2022 after a long battle with cancer in Tampa, Florida, she was 60 years old.

She was born in England in 1962. She is survived by her husband Jerry Morris of 33 years; father Arthur Matteau; mother Cynthia Matteau; sisters Eleanor Fiske (Steve) and Angela Rogers (Chuck); and brother Richard Matteau. Though she never had children, she considered her husband’s family hers, Robert Morris, Dorothy Pena (Jesse), Patricia Morris (Vincent), and John Morris (Johneisha). A very special Auntie Judy. Nephew; Jed Fiske, nieces; Amber Fiske, Angela “Holly” Hollenbeck and Crystal Ellison and her Vermont family. She is preceded in death by her sister Judy Phoenix, brother Rene and a step-daughter Cathy Whitmer (Steve).

Linda loved everyone, her home was open to all. She loved her cat Jin Jin, angels, snowman, lobster and a good cup of soup. For years Linda and Jerry would participate in the reenactment of the Dade BattleField in Bushnell, Florida. She always said, “You can’t be sad if you are skipping ...so just skip ...skip ...skip”.

She will be greatly missed in so many ways.

She gave all of her love to everyone all of her life.
