John Eaton Scott Jr. was born in Washington, DC on February 2, 1948 and sadly passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

He was a proud Army veteran. He got his undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall and Masters in Chemistry from University of Delaware. He is survived by his wife Martha Scott, his sister Betty Waldron, brother-in-law Mark Waldron, his  brother Roland Scott and sister-in-law Barbara Scott.

While he did not have any biological children, he was always very loving to Martha's children: Mark Eceiza, Michelle Eceiza, Angela Canals, and Elizabeth Boatman. John was an exceptionally devoted husband to Martha, always very loving and caring by pleasing her in many ways.

He was tall, handsome, incredibly intelligent, unselfish, courageous, kind, skilled, loved to make people laugh and loved by family, friends, neighbors and all who met him. He will greatly be missed especially by his wife Martha and family.
