Iris Milagros Arroyo Cordero, was born in Puerto Rico, raised between New York and Florida. Our mother was a lifelong educator who loved people; she was an artist and a homemaker. Our mother loved Christmas, and all that the season would bring. She loved to travel, the beach, the snow, she also loved music and dancing but most of all she loved her family her five children, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 28th 2025 at 9:03AM, she was 72 years young. For all that knew her knew that she was a force of life, and she was loved by many.

Iris Milagros Arroyo is preceded in death by her Mother Eva Cordero & Father Rafael Arroyo

Survived by her five children and their spouse’s Iris E. Noriega, Ericka J. Martinez & spouse Ellies S. Martinez, Marisol Arroyo & spouse Bily Casseus, Richard Arroyo & spouse Margie Defalla and Sunshine Arroyo, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.

Our Mother
Our beautiful mother who gave us life, you inspired us with your love, your strength, your grace, faith, and love for life.
Our warrior, our cheerleader, our Queen Bee, Our Mother for life.
You were taken from us; we were not ready to say goodbye but on that day the lord gained an angel by calling you to be by his side.
We know in body you are gone but your spirit remains. For you will continue to be our guiding light our angel in the sky until we meet and are together again.
Weep not for me though I am gone Into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul’s sweet flight
I am at peace, my soul’s at rest
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts In your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death, But celebrate my life.

Service Remembrance will be held on:

Sunday April 6, 2025

Viewing will commence at 11:00AM and will end at 2:00PM

I love you mi Abuela, I am going to miss you more then you will ever know. Everyday since you left us I have cried broken hearted of your passing. I know you told me not to cry but that is not something I could promise you. My heart hurts Abuela. I will FOREVER LOVE YOU until my last breath. My beautiful Angel watch over us all.
