George Bryant Cox, Jr. 62 passed away at home in Tampa on July 7, 2022. George is survived by his wife, Lisa; son Stephen; daughters Briana and Michelle. Mother Sandra Cox, two brothers Mike and Jon and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father George Bryant Cox Sr.
George worked for Tampa Electric(Teco) for over 40 years. He loved the outdoors as he was an avid fisherman and hunter. For his time spent coaching football he was known to his team of coaches and players as "Coach Cox".
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, 11AM @ Faith Life Church on 2702 E. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers it was George's request that donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in his honor.
I will miss George greatly as he was an amazing personal friend with a kind generous and caring personality! Love you George! Brock
