Francisco Coto

April 13, 1933- September 3, 2022

It is with deep sadness and profound loss that the surviving family announces the passing of Francisco

Coto at the age of 89.

Born to native Puerto Rican parents, he relocated to New York in his early teens. Francisco diligently

built a life for himself as an astute and successful businessman with no traditional education; then, he

grew his family. Francisco was a man of many talents and incredible ingenuity. He worked to provide for

this family until he became ill and retired. While retired, he enjoyed a simple, relaxed life in the family

home.

He is succeeded by his partner of 57 years, Olga Pineiro, his daughter, Frances Coto, and his

granddaughter, Caitlin James. He is also survived by 2 sons, 4 grandkids, and 3 great grandkids. His

presence is greatly missed, but his memory and spirit will live on. Services were held privately by the

family, and he is laid to rest beside his son, Manuel Coto.
