Christina Consalvo-DeLong

Updated: Aug 11, 2022

Christina Consalvo-DeLong passed away on July 26 th , 2022, after a long battle with HLH. She passed away peacefully and surrounded by family and insurmountable amounts of love and admiration. Christina was born in Shelton, Connecticut on March 15 th , 1977, to her parents Simon and Barbara Consalvo. In addition to her parents, Christina is survived by her two daughters Danielle Nicole DeLong and Madelyn Rose DeLong, her sister Diana Consalvo-Lankow, and her Goddaughter Abigail Lankow. Christina also leaves behind her beloved fiancé Matthew Gaudet, as well as many more family and friends.

Christina graduated from Martin County High School in the class of 1995. She went on to attend and graduate from the University of Central Florida where she received her bachelor’s degree in Education. Christina was a brilliant elementary school teacher for 24 years with the last twelve years spent teaching the 2nd grade at Jupiter Elementary School in Jupiter, FL. She was recognized and awarded teacher of the year in 2014. She was a beloved teacher, friend, and mentor to many of her co-workers at JES. She loved being a JES Brave and her entire Braves family. She loved and adored every student that walked through her classroom door. She had an amazing passion for providing her children with the best education she could and never wavered from leaving any one student behind.

Christina loved running in 5K runs as well as marathons. Her favorite race she would run every year was the Princess Marathon in Disney. She and her girlfriends would look forward to attending this event annually and would make it into a fun weekend that they all looked forward to every year. Another one of Christina’s favorite pastimes was hosting and entertaining house guests and family members. She would go to great lengths to bring people together and provide them with amazing food, appetizers, and drinks. Family meant everything to her, so this was her absolute favorite thing to do.

Christina will always be remembered as one of the most selfless people anyone would have ever met. She always put everyone ahead of herself to make sure they had anything and everything they may need. She was so beautiful and genuinely generous! She will be missed terribly by all that knew her and all that loved her. We have no doubt Christina received her angel wings and halo the minute she walked into heaven. We love Christina so much and she will be missed for eternity.

A mass in honor of Christina will be on Saturday August 20th, 11am at Saint Andrew

Catholic Church, 2100 SE Cove Rd, Stuart FL 34997. Please join us as we honor the soul of Christina Consalvo-DeLong. A Celebration of Life Party will be announced at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers we ask that donations be made in Christina’s name at HLH-Heros.org. https://www.hlh-heroes.org/ https://secure.givelively.org/donate/hlh-heroes-foundation-not-for-profit
