
Alexander "Alex" David Ferguson, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on February 8, 2025 in Tampa, Florida.
Alex was born on November 20, 1983 in West Covina, California at the age of 4 he moved to Amarillo, Texas. Later attended Palo Duro High School. He spent most of his life working as a home remodeling contractor, a profession he truly loved. He had a deep love for life and cherished his family above all else. His greatest joy came from the time spent with his mother, children, and grandchildren. In his final days, he longed to return home to them. Though he could not make it back to his earthly home, he found peace in another.

Alex was the beloved son of Dana Niemi, step-father Todd Niemi, father Alfred Ferguson and step mother Angela Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Donna Merrifield. He is survived by his mother, Dana Niemi; his brother Justin Smith; his wife Mariah Ferguson; his children, Halie, Brendon, Ethan, Klara, Riley, and Leeah Ferguson; and his grandchildren, Zamarion and Za’laya, with his soon to be grandson Jiraiya.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in Amarillo, Texas to honor Alex's legacy.
